When I grow up, I Think I'd be a great musician. I've always enjoyed rock, folk, and other genres. One of my favorite things to do is to sing and play guitar for an every day hobby. I even had some experience at performing in front of an audience. I learn quickly, I love performing, and I'm really good at guitar. Therefore, I will be the best musician there ever was!
Learning has always come naturally to me. There was this one time I taught myself because Dad was to busy to teach me. I'm always trying to improve my work. Whenever I play, it's like I am in my habitat. Being able to learn quickly is the first step along the path to becoming a musician.
Also, performing is another thing I really enjoy. It's so exciting to get up in front of people and tell a joke, say a line or sing a song. When I'm performing, I feel like I am in my every day life, except in front of hundreds of people. I am to performing, what a comedian is to a joke. Being able to perform for the rest of my life would be awesome.
Playing the guitar takes a special talent. I gained a lot of experience at guitar from my Dad, though nowadays I teach myself. I learned a lot about the fingerings (or chords), single string songs (songs that only use one string at a time, or no chords), and strumming techniques. For example, I can play the Pink Panther using single strings, but I can also play King of the Road with chords, not even to mention the hundreds (or in reality possibly 30-50) songs I also can play. The time I spent practicing the guitar is sure to give me an advantage when it comes to being a musician.
The three most important ingredients required in order to become successful a musician are learning, performing, and playing the guitar, and I've got them all! I want to be the best musician ever (or at least the 2nd best, possibly 3rd) I'm never so happy as when I'm n the midst of my music. It's like my dad said "Son, you've gone beyond me (which is a good sign, mind you)." When I play the guitar, whether It's on my own or for my family, I feel like I am in my natural habitat, and that is why I will be the best musician there ever was!!!!!!!!
